New Old Stock Columbia Cutlery Co 12″ Roast Beef Knife Carbon Steel USA 1930-50s

Marked only Columbia C Corp New York. Hand ground stamped carbon steel with rosewood handle and nickel rivets.

These are unused, new old stock ‘new old stock’, they had aquired some small rust spiders which left some shallow pits, we cleaned out the rust as gently as possible to maintain the original acid etch markings and surface grinding, a fresh edge has been applied as well.

Columbia Cutlery Co acquired Foster Bros in the late 50s and this is likely from that stock it has an identical footprint to the same Foster Bros slicer.
