Gottleib Hammesfahr operated a large drop forge in the Foche area of Solingen and used the term “Nirosta” for its stainless steel. It took a while for the same term for stainless to be used and many manufacturers came up with their own branding.
The long tines and short flat area of the forks suggests older manufacture, it would be consistent with other forks from the 1920s. The hand painted (no lead) wood handles are very unusual
