Sabatier Trumpet 12″ Round Nosed Slicer Carbon Steel France 1950s

Sabatier Trumpet 12″ round nosed slicer for ham, roasts etc. with forged carbon steel blade, fruitwood (pear?) handle and brass rivets. 

This is made by the same maker who did the Ancienne Maison line for Ekco in stainless steel, the trumpet is the same as well as the very angular transition on handle scales going into the rounded area next to bolster.
