Named after a famous Sengoku period (1300s) Swordsmith from Gifu who stared a line of swordsmiths, this knife was made in Seki city possibly sometime between the 1980s and 2000 judging from the box.
Most likely made with a SK carbon tool steel blade which will sharpen easily, provide good toughness and hold an edge well. Ideal for a butchery knife like this.
Knife is unused but the box has been beaten up a little.
